Furry Friends

Our first delivery date is April 13th at the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. We are all very excited and cannot wait to make so many children feel happy. We have thirty stuffed animals as of right now, and donations are going to continue to arrive this upcoming week. Although it is preferred for the stuffed animals to be new, we accept old ones as well. Any money donation will go directly to new stuffed animals. Our t-shirt and baseball cap design will be released in April. Thank you to all of our supporters in this cause. The Operation Teddy Bear Service is a non profit organization. The only language we speak is love. Together we can make a world a happy place. Please donate your stuffed animals today! Make a difference in the lives of children! To donate  please email Stephanie and Marissa at operationteddybearservice@gmail.com. For quick updates and pictures of our furry friends please follow us on twitter @OperationTeddy.
Thankyou.

One teddy bear at a time

Operation Teddy Bear currently has a basket full of teddy bears and we are very excited. Our visit to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta has been moved to this upcoming Thursday. We are keeping our fingers crossed and  prayers in our hearts. We appreciate all of the support. It is our mission to make a difference in the lives of children. We accept all kinds of stuffed animals and children's books. Our delivery service date is tentative, but we will continue to update and keep all of you informed. You do not have to live in Atlanta or Georgia to donate.  After sending in a donation, you will receive a personalized thank-you card from us. :) We are in the process of designing t-shirts and baseball hats for sale. You will have the chance to purchase them and the money will go towards more stuffed animals and children's books. For information about donating or how your donations can reach us, please email Stephanie and Marissa at operationteddybearservice@gmail.com. Follow us on twitter @OperationTeddy. Why every child deserves a teddy bear

The first teddy bear was created in 1902.
At first, they were not as cuddly and soft, but as the years progressed, teddy bears became more friendly looking and sweet. For years and years, teddy bears have been a source of comfort. Children love teddy bears because there is a sense of protection that they feel when they hold one in their arms .They help children  fall asleep at night whenever they have bad dreams or make them smile when they are feeling sad. A teddy bear is a stuffed animal that comforts a child's heart. Although teddy bears  cannot walk, talk, or eat, in a child's eyes teddy bears are like people. They are a child's guardian angel. As Operation Teddy Bear Service, it is our mission-our duty to make every child in every hospital feel comfort through the arms of a loving teddy bear. To make a  teddy bear and / or  book donation please contact Stephanie and Marissa at operationteddybearservice@gmail.com. We are not asking for money, we are asking for just teddy bears and children's books as donations.

Our goals

Hello! And welcome to The Operation Teddy Bear blog site! Our main goal for this service project is to bring smiles to the children of Atlanta in hospitals. In doing so we are collecting teddy bears and children's books.  Each month, we will  gather the bears and books and we will personally deliver them to a designated hospital. We believe that every child deserves a cuddly teddy bear and a great book to read. This is an ongoing service project and we hope to make a difference in a child's life. To make a teddy bear and/or children's book donation please contact Stephanie and Marissa at operationteddybearservice@gmail.com
